Topchubashov Moot Court Competition

The Topchubashov Moot Court Competition commemorates the distinguished Azerbaijani lawyer Alimardan bey Topchubashov and has been organized by the Moot Court Society since 2016. Since 2018, the competition has been conducted within a constitutional proceeding format. Its primary objective is to promote the practical application of legal knowledge while fostering participants’ proficiencies in legal research, argumentation, and public advocacy.

Khasmammadov Arbitration Moot

The Khasmammadov Arbitration Moot, organized by the Moot Court Society since 2018, is the first arbitration competition in our country to be conducted in accordance with international standards. Previously commemorated in honor of Alimardan bey Topchubashov, the Moot has been renamed the Khasmammadov Arbitration Moot starting from 2026, in memory of Alakbar bey Khasmammadov.

Khoyski
Mediation Moot

The Khoyski Mediation Competition commemorates the distinguished Azerbaijani lawyer Fatali khan Khoyski and has been organized by the Moot Court Society since 2020. The competition aims to strengthen mediation traditions within the country while fostering the development of students’ practical skills.

Aghaoghlu Negotiation and Contract Drafting Competition

The Aghaoghlu Negotiations and Contract Drafting Competition is a new initiative of the Moot Court Society, and commemorates Surayya khanim Aghaoghlu. Held for the first time in the country in a unique format, the Competition provides participating students with the opportunity to develop their negotiation, representation, and contract drafting skills in a professional work environment.
