Moot Court Society

Our Activity

BSU Moot Court Society (MCS), operating since 2016 under the Student Academic Society of the Faculty of Law of Baku State University, organizes Topchubashov Moot Court Competition, Topchubashov Arbitration Moot, and the Khoyski Mediation Moot. The Society also conducts internal faculty selection rounds to determine students’ participation in The Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and WIPO IP Moot Court Competition.

Competitions

Topchubashov Moot Court Competition

The Competition, dedicated to the memory of Alimardan bey Topchubashov has been the only competition in the country conducted in the form of constitutional proceeding.

Topchubashov Arbitration Moot

The Competition, dedicated to the memory of Alimardan bey Topchubashov, is the first arbitration competition in the country conducted in accordance with international practice.

Khoyski Mediation Moot

The Competition dedicated to the memory of Fatali khan Khoyski is the only competition in the country held in the field of mediation.

Aghaoghlu Negotiation & Contract Drafting Competition

The Competition dedicated to the memory of Surayya Aghaoghlu provides an opportunity to conduct professional business negotiations and draft contracts.
